Yeah, congrats to the finishers!
I was thinking that with 11kts from the west there would be enough. And with the number of clouds arround I was hoping I could mix and match but, I just could not center the thermals. When I did (sort of) they died. I was also trying to stay out of everyone's way. If I caused anyone to have to jink, I appolgize.
Well, an outlanding next to a buxom farmer's daughter (note to self: pack a bottle of champaign next time) do have it's attractions.

Is it no longer active? If so, could someone give me another club level/training suggestion.

Bummer Matt. I've been there. Glad you're getting back to where you were.
Being just a little paranoid (I don't even trust doorknobs) I got an 8GB flash drive and put all my Condor downloaded stuff on it. Program, keys, sceneries, etc. And I do a complete backup of my PC to a Seagate portable usb drive every month. Cheap insurance.

Thanks Eugene. Yeah, it was nice flying with you.
OK, that explanation makes sense. I never read the 'Champion' part since right now that's a goal for the far future . I was just questioning that the numbers don't seem to change.

May I suggest that if you haven't cleaned the insides that may help (vacum and a small brush). You might also elevate it an inch or so to allow air circulation under it. And a small fan (there are ones that plug into a usb port) blowing underneath might help.

Could someone give me an explanation of how the numbers are derived?
I'm registered and I think I've flown three races, each, in Europe and East. I've only completed one race in each. The 'Counted' collumn for me shows 1/2. What do the figures mean? And how are they derived?

Don't know if you missed much. For me it was a struggle. Combination of staying in lift when I could find it due to the turbulence and then spending what seemed like a lifetime working the ridges to get to the next turnpoint.
Kind of like the story about the avid golfer who comes home from from his weekly round completely exhausted. Wife asks what happend. He says, "Harry had a heart attack on the second tee." "That's horrible! What did you do?", asks his wife.
"Well, for the next 17 holes it was hit the ball, drag Harry, hit the ball, drag Harry."

Wasn't me, but I did finish. Nice course but I could have done without so much turbulence. Kept making my beer foam up.

Thanks for the invite, Bualu. I'll be competing on the 13th but I probably won't be on teamspeak. You may see me there in a few weeks as setting up teamspeak is on my to-do list.
You may get an email from me asking setup questions.

Absoulutly! And Europe. I enjoy it. I'm new at this and just have problems in the 'heat of battle'.
